ART:: Emilio Cresciani Artist / Photographer

Water PIpes 13# Sydney, Australia 2012-2

Artist/photographer Emilio Cresciani presents a fascinating series of fine art images in the exhibition ‘Remains of the Day’.

Using different types of waste including perishable objects such as tyre rims, mattresses, TVs and wires as subjects, Cresciani reverses the images to the negative, appearing like x-rays, metaphors for disease, exploring notions of our consumer driven lifestyle.

PHOTOGRAPHY :: Marnie Haddad ‘The Fourth Floor’

Melbourne photographer, Marnie Haddad unveils a new body of work at Scott Livesey Galleries with a series of dramatically beautiful, yet haunting images.

Haddad’s apporach is cinematic – staged and directed – blurring the boundaries between real and imaginary, created with the use of a constant light source paired with digital technology: the result, romanticized by warm color and film-like quality.
